Employee Interview: Kelsey

Kelsey has been with Five Pound Apparel for almost 5 years. She is such a joy to have at the stores. She is an expert t-shirt folder and has an amazing sense of style. I have also never seen someone as happier around dogs than Kelsey. Now that you know how much we love Kelsey, here is what she thinks about 5 Pound!

What do you like most about working at 5 Pound Apparel? 

There are so many things I like about working at 5 Pound, but one thing I enjoy the most is our customers! I love getting to be a part of what is hopefully a fun part of their day, and getting to know them as they return to shop! 

What is your favorite brand or product that we carry and why?

One of my very favorite brands we carry is The Giving Keys! I especially love their dainty necklaces, but you can’t go wrong with any style to be honest. In addition to their great designs, they also employ people transitioning out of homelessness and are making a real difference in their community!

What are 5 things that make you happy?

• Spending time with friends and family

• The right song at the right time

• Wearing shorts with long sleeve shirts

• Petting dogs

• The feeling of anticipation

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Probably doing things with people.
